Tongji International Construction Festival　2018

 

International Construction Festival in 2018 had been held from June 4^th to 10^th

at Tongji University in Shanghai.

This aim of this festival was to inspire young students’ creativity

and improve their skills through constructing one building.

 

This year, 36 team from around the world gathered in Shanghai

and competed their skills and constructing ability with their own unique ideas.

 

　Participants were allowed to have five days preparation

 

and required to construct a building within 8 hours

 

with understanding the characteristics of the materials.

 

 

Each building was examined by evaluation committee based on the evaluation criteria.

 

Kyushu University team constructed a building called “Star Gazer”

which was inspired by Chinese poetry including tanabata story.

 

 

 

They showed their great team-work and successfully achieved to build their building.
