2019 Tongji International Construction Festival

 

From June 3rd to June 9th, 2019 Tongji International Construction Festival was held at Tongji University in Shanghai.

 

This festival is an annual event which is aimed for inspiring young students’ creative potential, and to discover and foster design talents of imagination and innovative spirit.

 

Participants consist of 16 teams of freshmen from Tongji University. 20 teams from

 

other architecture schools in Chinese universities; 13 teams from abroad. In total 49 pavilions were constructed.

09:00-10:00 the Awarding Ceremony

 

 

 

Main construction materials:

5mm plastic polypropylene sheet + nylon screw

 

All materials will be provides by the organization.

 

No other materials are allowed to bring to the site.

6 students from Kyushu University participated this festival

and they constructed the building with movable ceilings and windows.

Not only they could won the third prize

but also had a valuable experiences
